Here are presented some of my favorite books
My main book topics are natural science, popular science, science fiction
and technical books. Unfortunately I do not give myself time to read so much
imaginative literature. Although well familiar with (at least) technical English
I prefer to read books translated to Swedish. There is an enormous selection
of (especially new) books out there, and I have of course only read a few
of them. Actually I spend more time reading and searching information on
Internet than reading books. Regarding technical information and manuals it
is often superior.
My next book to read will be "The Fabric of Cosmos" by Brian Greene 2004,
in the Swedish translation "Det stoff varav kosmos vävdes". I also come
across another book that seems very nice and interesting, namely "Sofie's
World - Novel about the History of Philosophy" by the Norwegian Jostein
Gaarder 1991, in the Swedish translation "Sofies värld - roman om filosofins
historia". This book is translated to many languages. Unfortunately I did
not take the opportunity to study philosophy at school...
The list is not complete yet and in no special order. The Swedish titles
are given in brackets.
