Something about XP PowerToys for Windows Vista and 7

The Windows XP PowerToys from Microsoft are nice tools that usually don't work with
Windows Vista and 7. However some solutions found on Internet are presented here.

Here is the link to the original PowerToys for Windows XP:

Image Resizer

An Image Resizer clone for Windows Vista and 7 is found here:

Power Calculator

The author found the XP Power Calculator much better and powerful than the calculator that
comes with Windows Vista and 7.

The Windows XP install program for the Power Calculator doesn't work with Windows Vista and 7.
However, if you have a Windows XP computer available you can download the calculator from
Microsoft and install it on the XP machine. Then copy the file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\PowerCalc.exe"
to your Vista computer desktop. Then run the program in "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)" comp-
ability mode, and voila, it works for Windows Vista and 7! To do this, right click on the exe-file, select
Properties/Compability and then check and select Compability for Windows XP (Service Pack 2).

Desktop Managers

A nice desktop manager that works with Windows Vista, 7 and XP is found here. However,
it is not exactly a PowerToy clone. Actually it is strange that a good desktop manager is not
a natural part of Windows Vista and 7.

Actually VirtuaWin seems to be better:
